The most physically demanding part of our body is the feet. Because skin cells divide quickly, more of them are needed to protect us in places where there is frequent and intense pressure, and thus calluses form.

They most often occur on the sole of the foot, whose treatment is not the most pleasant task. In summer in flip-flops or sandals it is not very aesthetic, but in colder weather it can be uncomfortable even in socks.

Stop spending money on expensive creams and scrubs

You don’t necessarily have to spend money on more expensive special creams that you can buy in stores, because you can make a delightful cream yourself that will solve this problem by taking a few ingredients off your kitchen shelves.

If you already have a thick cracked layer on the heels, it’s worth using a pumice stone to remove all the protruding bits and the top layer. Then use this homemade scrub.

Homemade foot scrub

Very simple and quick to make. Anyone can make it at home.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of salt (coarse grains are fine)
  • 1.5 teaspoons of coconut oil
  • 10 drops of lavender oil

Instructions:

  1. Take a bowl and pour sugar and salt into it.
  2. Add salt, sugar and salt to the bowl.
  3. Then add the wet ingredients.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Apply this paste to the dry areas of the feet and spread it well with circular motions.
  6. If you have scrubbing gloves, it’s better to use them.
  7. After finishing, leave the mixture on for at least 10 minutes.
  8. Then wash your feet with lukewarm water and gently pat them dry with a soft cloth.
  9. Then treat the surface.
  10. The best choice is coconut oil, which will soften even the driest skin.
  11. Apply it to your feet and put socks over them at night to prevent them from soaking the sheets.
  12. In the morning your feet will feel like new.
