We often attribute fatigue and headaches to problems at work, which we then drown with pills or consume various kinds of, especially sweet, foods. Who would have thought, however, that the first thing you should do is drink some plain clean water. Yes, many may be surprised, but in most cases it’s just a trivial matter – a lack of water, to which our body reacts very acutely. Every second person drinks only a third of the daily amount, which leads to disruption of the body’s chemical processes.

Body’s adjustment to water deficiency

If a young organism must constantly deal with a lack of water, over time various problems will begin to appear. Ask yourself a simple question: how often do you suffer from headaches and fatigue, how much water do you drink apart from tea and coffee? If you consider pain your usual morning state, it’s time to think about it.

Warning: More does not mean better

In recent years, articles about a healthy lifestyle have written about the importance of water for the health of the whole organism. Also that it is the most useful product on our planet and the more of it we drink during the day, the healthier we will be. More precisely, with every sip of water every cell is healed, rejuvenated and filled with beneficial elements. Experts, however, hold a different opinion …

“There is a belief, supported even by newspaper and magazine articles, that our need for water should be satisfied exclusively with plain water,” says dietitian Gal Goldberg. – My colleagues and I would never claim that people should drink only water. This is an individual matter for each of us.

The volume of water consumed may vary depending on diet, place of residence and also on the nature of activities we perform each day. If you stick to the popular dose of 1.5-2 liters of water a day, then drink it at the right times to get the most benefit from it.

When is it best to drink?

08:00 – two glasses of warm water with lemon on an empty stomach. It has been proven that this is the best way to start the day. It is a way to reach the required level of hydration, wake the body and prepare it for food intake. By the way, breakfast should be half an hour after drinking the water.

11:00 – a glass of water at room temperature. Drinking water at this time means reducing your appetite at lunch and eating only half of the usual portion. For those who consider lunch the main meal of the day, this may be seen as real sacrilege. Well, if you want not only to improve your health but also to lose excess weight, try to make this a habit.

13:00 – a glass of warm water before lunch and a cup during lunch. There is a myth about the harmfulness of drinking fluids while eating. If you drink a sweet or fizzy drink, even in large quantities, there is no doubt that it will affect your health and weight. However, a glass of warm water during lunch will help improve digestion.

16:00 – half a liter of water at room temperature. Between lunch and evening we often treat ourselves to fruit, chips, chocolate or other goodies. Therefore it’s better if you replace unhealthy foods with plain water.

20:00 – a glass of warm water. This is the final phase. You can add a slice of lemon and a little honey to it, which will not only improve the taste of the water but also the function of your body.

Conclusion

Such a drinking regimen not only ensures the body’s health but also helps fight excess weight. There are no diets, fasts or other restrictions. Drink water according to the plan, lose weight and gain health and strength!
