Surely you know the plant that people call “money tree”. People started calling it that because the leaves of this plant resemble the thickness of round coins.

The leaves contain a lot of sap. I can now tell you how to obtain the perfect medicine from this plant.

First of all I warn you that the leaves, besides useful substances, also contain arsenic. Therefore, when taken internally you must be careful about the correct dosage.

Uses of the jade plant

1. If you have a cold sore on your lips, apply this plant’s sap to the area every 30 minutes.
Another alternative is to apply a compress soaked in its sap and secure it with a plaster, preferably before sleeping, so it can act for several hours.

2. If you want to recover quickly from tonsillitis, you should extract the liquid from 10 of its leaves and dilute it in a glass of water. Inhale this solution 3 times a day.

3. For joint pain, it is recommended to rub the affected areas with the sap from 10 to 15 leaves before going to bed.

4. Do you have problems with hemorrhoids? Apply a sliced leaf of this amazing plant to the affected area.

5. The jade plant also heals burns, unsightly blemishes that mainly affect women, wounds and abscesses. Prepare a paste from the leaves, apply it to the needed spot, cover with a bandage and change every 2–3 hours.

6. The sap from the leaves removes itching and inflammation after bites from mosquitoes, bees and wasps. Rub the wound 4 to 6 times a day.

7. Jade plant helps with inflammatory kidney disease. You should drink 1 tablespoon of this extract 3 times a day: crush 5 leaves, add them to a glass of warm water and let steep for 1 hour.

Folk superstitions say that if the jade plant begins to bloom, your household will expect a financial windfall and great prosperity. Take care of this beauty and enjoy its benefits!

How to propagate it?

Propagating the jade plant is absolutely easy. It often happens spontaneously in the flowerpot when a leaf falls off.

Carefully planted leaves become “mothers” for small plantlets that begin to grow at the dried spots where we detached them.

Even when we propagate the plant from stem cuttings, we first let the stems dry for some time, at least a day or two, and only then plant them in soil.

The other option is to place the stems in a glass of water and wait for them to put out roots themselves.

Bonus at the end

Feng shui teachers know a way in which wealth and positive energy are brought into the home. People believe that the presence of a single plant in the house will attract money like a magnet.

It is a plant named Crassulaovata, commonly called the jade plant. This plant does not require much attention, not even a large pot. However, if you give it more space, it will begin to grow beautifully.

According to an old Chinese technique it should have its place on the right side of the house entrance, in the northern part of the house. The jade plant also contains oils that support optimism and stimulate a person’s mental and physical condition.
