Some animals have mastered the art of camouflage, which can ensure their survival in times of danger.
The chameleon may be the best-known example of adapting to its environment, but in the following example you’ll see it’s not the only one that can perfectly blend in.
Watch the slope closely
In the picture you see a hillside on which there’s probably nothing. But that’s not true.
A careful observer who studies the image long enough will notice camouflaged animals in it. However, most people probably don’t expect so many.
They are perfectly hidden, making them invisible to predators. Tary lives on the slopes of New Zealand mountains and, as you can see, blends perfectly into the surroundings.
