How do you know if your liver needs help and how to provide it?
There is a misconception that to damage the liver you almost have to be an alcoholic, but in reality there are other reasons that can cause liver damage and disease. It can be, for example, the trivial intake of certain types of medications and remedies that most of us practice.
Sick liver: what to look out for?
- The following symptoms indicate the presence of liver disease:
- Pale, white, or yellow nails
- Bruises in various places on the body
- Yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice)
- Abdominal pain and bloating
- Swelling of the legs and ankles
- Itchy skin
- Black urine
- Pale, bloody, or tarry stools
- Chronic fatigue
- Nausea or vomiting
- Loss of appetite
If you notice one or more of the above symptoms, you should first cleanse your liver by changing your diet.

Focus on foods such as vegetables and fruits, stop eating refined and processed foods; balance your portions.
