Required ingredients
- 1 fresh ginger
- Fresh mint leaves
- 1 cucumber
- 1 lemon
- 8 ½ cups of drinking water (use filtered or bottled water and a 250 ml cup)
Preparation
- Thoroughly wash the lemon.
- Cut it in half and remove the seeds. Slice the lemon into thin slices, but do not remove the peel.
- Place the lemon slices in a bowl with water and let them steep for 8.5 hours.
- Do not squeeze lemon juice into the water.
- Carefully wash 8–12 mint leaves and add them to the water. Wash, peel and grate the ginger.
- Add the cucumber.
- Then add the ginger to the mixture. Shake the mixture, cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator.
- Leave it in the fridge overnight. The next day the drink can be consumed. When you’re thirsty, drink the Sassy water.
For best results, prepare fresh Sassy water every 4 days. If you like, you can strain the water before pouring it into a glass.
