Once everyone hammered into our heads that if we want to lose weight, we can’t eat after six o’clock. For the modern person, however, this is not an acceptable method of losing weight, because we often work late into the night and need to replenish energy later in the evening. So replace this outdated rule with this simple solution – have dinner 3 hours before sleeping, eliminate carbohydrates, don’t eat in front of the TV, cut down on salt and choose these light salads for dinner.
We’ll recommend these light salad recipes for dinner
They are excellent and instead of heavy mayonnaise dressings they mainly contain olive oil, lemon juice, mustard, yogurt – each option will be wonderful. And most importantly, you’ll avoid unpleasant heaviness in your stomach, you’ll have energy and you’ll lose weight much more easily.
Salad with mustard dressing
we need:
260 g of lettuce leaves
3 tomatoes
2 cucumbers
1 onion
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1 bunch of parsley
4 tablespoons yogurt
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon mustard
80 g low-fat cheese
Salt, pepper to taste (we try to limit salt as much as possible in each of these salads)
method:
Wash the lettuce, vegetables and herbs.
Tear the lettuce by hand. Slice the cucumbers, tomatoes and onion. Chop the herbs. Finely grate the cheese.
Mix the cheese with yogurt, mustard and pressed garlic.
Mix all ingredients in a deep salad bowl. Add salt and pepper to the vegetable salad to taste.
Chicken salad in soy sauce
we need:
1 tomato
1 cucumber
200 g chicken breast
1 tablespoon soy sauce
100 g lettuce leaves
1 clove of garlic
Olive oil to taste
Salt, pepper to taste
method:
To prepare a light diet salad for dinner, cut the meat into small pieces. Marinate the meat in soy sauce and garlic for 20 minutes. Then fry in a little oil until golden brown.
Wash the lettuce leaves, tear them by hand. Put into a deep bowl.
Slice the cucumbers and tomatoes and add to the salad bowl.
Season everything with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper.
Quick tuna salad
we need:
2 cucumbers
4 tomatoes
250 g canned beans
200 g canned tuna in its own juice
1 red onion
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon olive oil
Salt, pepper, Italian herbs to taste
method:
Wash the vegetables. Cut the cucumbers and tomatoes into small pieces.
Drain the liquid from the beans. Put them into a bowl. Add the cucumbers, tomatoes and tuna in its own juice (drain the juice and flake the fish with a fork).
Garnish with onion rings.
Season the salad with oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Salad with chicken breasts and olives
we need:
2 apples (green)
3-4 cucumbers
1 chicken breast
5-8 olives
3 tablespoons low-fat yogurt
Salt, pepper to taste
method:
Grate the apples or cut them into small pieces. Also slice the cucumbers.
Cook the chicken breast and slice it.
Slice the olives into rings.
Mix all the ingredients. Season with yogurt, salt and pepper.
Chicken Fitness salad
we need:
300 g chicken breast
1 cucumber
1 tomato
1 bell pepper
2-3 tablespoons canned corn
1 tablespoon yogurt
1/2 teaspoon chopped dill
Salt, pepper to taste
method:
Wash the cucumbers and cut them into strips. Also cut the tomatoes and pepper into small pieces.
Cook the chicken and slice it (you can also use roasted or grilled chicken).
Mix all the ingredients. Toss the salad with yogurt, season with pepper and salt.
Cabbage salad with yogurt-mustard dressing
we need:
1 small head of cabbage (you can do half-and-half with red cabbage)
3 carrots
1 large red onion
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon honey
Plain yogurt – sometimes I use half a tub, other times a whole one, you’ll see how creamy you want the salad to be
Salt, ground cumin
method:
Clean and slice the vegetables thinly – slice the onion as thinly as possible. Let it rest for 15 minutes and then drizzle with lemon juice. Mix the yogurt with mayonnaise, mustard, honey, salt and spices.
Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes and then you can serve. Taste the salad during preparation and adjust the finished dish to your liking. 🙂
Salad with apples and cabbage
we need:
1 apple
half a small head of cabbage
100 g canned corn
1 carrot
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt, pepper to taste
method:
Peel the apples, cut into pieces.
Finely chop the cabbage. Peel and grate the carrot. Mix the carrot and cabbage with the canned corn and apples.
Season with spices, salt and lemon juice.
Salad with calamari and cheese
we need
300 g squid or seafood
2 tomatoes
150 g hard low-fat cheese
1 clove of garlic
Yogurt to taste
method:
Cook the calamari and cut into rings.
Also chop the tomatoes. Press the garlic and grate the cheese.
Mix everything and dress with yogurt.
Salmon salad
we need:
150 g lettuce leaves
1 tomato
1 cucumber
250 g salmon fillet
20 g Dijon mustard
20 g honey
20 g soy sauce
Olive oil to taste
Salt, pepper to taste
method:
Tear the lettuce leaves, slice the cucumbers and tomatoes. Mix in a deep bowl.
Mix the soy sauce, mustard and honey. Add salt to the mixture if necessary.
Slice the salmon fillet. Fry in a pan with a small amount of oil (you can also choose baked or steamed salmon). Transfer the pieces of fish to the bowl with tomatoes and cucumbers.
Season everything with the honey-mustard sauce. Add spices.
