For a healthy lifestyle people do not decide only to achieve a good figure, but also so that they feel good and full of energy. Of course a beautiful figure is a big plus that a healthy lifestyle brings.

If you do not feel well, if you are tired and if you have long-term trouble losing weight, there may be several reasons why. Take a look at 10 morning bad habits you should quickly get rid of.

1.Long lingering in bed in the morning

Sufficiently long sleep is very important, however nothing should be exaggerated. As they say, no extreme is appropriate and remember that even when sleeping. The ideal duration for sleep is 7 to 8 hours and it is best to go to bed earlier in the evening and wake up earlier in the morning. People who sleep too long are more prone to cardiovascular disease and diabetes, which is also related to obesity.

2. You don’t make time for a healthy and hearty breakfast

If you make time for breakfast in the morning, your body will certainly be very grateful to you. Thanks to breakfast your metabolism will work much better, which prevents problems with gaining weight. If you eat properly in the morning, your appetite during the day is reduced and thus your calorie intake during the day as well.

Another benefit is also that by having breakfast you lower the cortisol level in the blood. Cortisol is a stress hormone that is released into the body after waking to prevent a sudden drop in blood sugar.

3. You check your phone or computer immediately after waking up

The time you spend in the morning checking your phone or computer could easily be invested elsewhere, for example preparing a tasty breakfast or a morning workout that would fill your body with morning energy and strength.

Among other things, checking emails or SMS messages in the morning is also a stressful activity that you should avoid after waking up.

4. You don’t use the scale regularly

Many studies prove that people who weighed themselves regularly were more motivated in their effort to lose weight than those who did not weigh themselves. The best way to weigh yourself is first thing in the morning, after using the toilet and before drinking water, or before consuming breakfast.

If you also go to the gym while losing weight, you can expect weight gain. This number should not worry you, because muscles are heavier than fat and therefore in this case your weight may increase.

5. You consume carbohydrates in the wrong form

Consuming carbohydrates is important, however not all carbohydrates are the same. On a diet you should try to consume healthy carbohydrates that will stave off your hunger and will also be released slowly.

The best is to choose carbohydrates found for example in mango, oatmeal, whole wheat, Greek yogurt, bananas, or blueberries.

6. You wear too uncomfortable and tight clothing

It is natural that some types of professions require a specific style of dress and therefore suits or formal attire are in some places an indispensable part. If you are forced to wear such clothing, it is likely that you do not take the stairs, but rather use the elevator.

It is understandable, if possible choose more comfortable clothing. As part of your weight loss plan try to use the stairs that are available to you.

7. You don’t meditate

Even a short, few-minute meditation every morning can help with your weight loss and gaining energy. Thanks to meditation your blood pressure and cortisol level, the stress hormone in the blood, will decrease. When the level of this hormone is balanced, your appetite will also be stable.

8. You skip morning stretching

As with meditation, stretching does not need to be done for a long time during the day, but every day, i.e. regularly. A few minutes a day is enough and you will feel better. You will help your aching muscles and joints and your movement during the day will be much more flexible.

9. You don’t drink a glass of water in the morning

Before you get into your obligatory morning coffee you should obligatorily drink at least 250ml of plain water or water with lemon juice. Drinking water right after waking activates you, gives you energy, maintains balance in the body and also the correct body temperature.

10. you don’t let light into the bedroom in the morning:  If getting up in the morning is really difficult for you, daylight might help you, as it automatically helps activate your body. It will charge you with energy and a good mood, thanks to which you will certainly exercise earlier, rather than staying in a cloudy, poorly lit room.
